Samsung has launched its Galaxy Beam handset in the UK. It is available from retailers including Carphone Warehouse on Orange and T-Mobile tariffs, free from ?31 a month on contract.

Other specifications include a four-inch touchscreen, five megapixel rear camera, 1.3 megapixel front-facing camera and 8GB of internal memory that can be expanded by up to 32GB with a microSD card.

“It’s the kind of device you won’t find anywhere else a high definition projector within a standard sized smartphone and is great for people who want to watch movies, show photos to friends or need to give a presentation while they’re out and about.”
